George, of course, listed many other characteristics, citing that there are an abundant amount of things about Amal that make him love her dearly. He also mentioned seeing and hearing Amal speak at the International Court of Appeals for work purposes, which impressed him.

The two met a little later in life when George was in his 50s, and Amal was in her mid-30s. Regarding feelings surrounding their 17-year age gap, the couple remains unfazed.

The "Ticket to Paradise" star previously expressed how marrying Amal later in life gave him the sense of maturity he needed to be Amal's best partner. He explained being less fussed about little things that would have potentially been an issue for him in his younger years, citing an example of Amal wanting to paint a wall yellow and comparing how he reacted now versus how he might have during his younger years.

Amal means everything and more to George, who said he has never been happier in any other relationship he has had before her. For Amal, the feeling is 100 percent mutual:
